Typecon 2011 - Looking for a roommate!

Hello typophiles!

I am planning on attending TypeCon this year for the second time, and I'm looking for a roommate to make the trip affordable. I'm a 24-year-old female graphic designer passionate about all things typography.

I did my thesis project on educating people about typography through three books I wrote and designed about the ampersand, and an interactive ampersand installation.

My preference would be for a female roommate, but I am open to anyone would might be a good fit. I am open to staying at the Royal Sonesta, a nearby hotel (maybe cheaper), or even a hostel.

You can check out my personal website here: http://mollymcleod.com, and email me at molly.ampersand@gmail.com if you or anyone you know is looking for a roommate!

More information about Letter.2:

Letter.2 is the second international competition of type design organized by the Association Typographique Internationale (ATypI). The first event of this kind since the founding of ATypI took place in 2001, and it was a contribution to the United Nations Year of Dialogue Among Civilizations. The winning entries were exhibited at the United Nations Headquarters in New York (USA) and they were featured in the book Language Culture Type.

NYC Internship HELP :)

So I am currently performing an exhaustive search over the internet to find an internship calling my name in NYC. I'm a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design and am looking for an internship over the Summer of 2011. I will do next to anything (my soul is up for bid on ebay as we speak) to further my passion for graphic design in NYC. I am very interested in web design, typography, logo design, and package design...but am willing to turn to the dark side (joke) :) advertising if I needed.

Anyone have any advice I can take and run with? Or maybe even some comments?

thanks a bunch, guys!
