Dez Boulder is a Strong-Brewed OpenType display face with Multiple Personalities.

Dezcom Typefaces is proud to announce the release of "Dez Boulder," a rock-on typeface with three personalities on display.

The Dez Boulder family of display faces acts in a supporting role to give meaning to message and context to content. It is a very bold face, not understated. Each of its three personalities (and their sub-personalities) have a different timbre to speak the nuance of your message in a bold voice. Dez Boulder works like a character actor, presenting the author’s lines but not with the deadpan delivery of a news reporter. Boulder develops the role, adding meaning through facial expression, gesture, and body language.

Hi,

Just a quick heads up to let you all know that we (Colophon Foundry), have just released Fortescue & Fortescue Pro. A new serif typeface with stylistic pointy serifs.

The Pro set comes complete with extended characters for use in Eastern & Central European languages. Full OpenType features include contextual ligatures, discretional ligatures, superior & inferior numbers, fractions, oldstyle proportional figures, proportional and tabular lining figures and a full set of small caps. Please note that the pro set features are in addition to the standard weights.

Let us know what you think.

Warmest,

New release: Etica. The non-neutral typefamily

Forums:

TypeTogether is proud to announce the release of Etica, a strong yet delicate sans serif.

Etica, the-moralist-typefamily-project, was born at the end of 2000, but its development is ongoing, overcoming many hurdles and diversions. On one hand, the original idea was spurred by a certain esteem for Helvetica, in particular, its strength and versatility, and on the other, an intolerance to its plenty but inadequate applications; created by those who erroneously consider it to be a neutral and timeless design.

We believe that Helvetica is a beautiful typeface, but very deeply rooted in its own era. It is often unsuitably used in contexts that have changed profoundly since its birth. From this initial intention, we coined the ironic payoff ‘The-Moralist-Typeface’.

New Release. Sintesi. Sans meets serif.

Sintesi. Sans meets serif.

You would like to express tradition by using a contemporary font? Sintesi might be exactly what you are looking for.

Sintesi stands for synthesis: the unification of serif and sans-serif into a contemporary font, which surprises with different facets depending on its application.
In copy size Sintesi performs like a sans-serif. It is a compact and well readable font that fulfills all requirements of modern digital media.

In larger sizes, Sintesi unfolds its traditional character. Now, its strong contrast and the perceptible feather-ductus stand out clearly, as we appreciate it in a historical old style face.
