Okay, so I thought this might be of interest to you all:

There is a book called Sign Painters that came out several months ago by Faythe Levine and Sam Macon. Faythe Levine was the one who made that documentary called Handmade Nation. They have also made a movie called Sign Painters as well and there will be a free screening at UCLA Fowler Museum on July 25th (for folks living in Los Angeles, Orange County, Ventura County). There are screenings in other cities of the world as well.

Printing onto walls (anamorphic type)

Hi, this is my first post on typophile. You definitely seem like a knowledgeable bunch, so here goes:

I am in the process of designing a typeface for my final project at college. My course is in Art & Design and at the end of the year there is a show to display all the students completed work.

My tutors don’t really share my interest in typography. For the show I was thinking of trying a few words in anamorphic type to showcase my finished font, mainly because it is more interesting than a font specimen, which I had originally planned to do.

(x) Standard font on 45 RPM record from mid 1960s - Futura (aka Twentieth Century or Spartan) {Viviane, Ray L, Mark S}

This image is of a record that my Dad's band made in the 60s. It's the only image I have -- sorry about the resolution. I'm recreating the album, and would like to know (mainly) what the main body font is for the title of the music. Any other fonts on the record would be helpful as well. The second image is a reference that's clearer, using the same font.
