Small Caps in OpenType font

First, just to make sure, you see that there are two places in the menu in the screenshot where you can select the small caps, right? I assume you tried the one in the OpenType sub menu and not the one that is two items down from it? OK, in that case...

Gotham is a Rolls Royce, Google fonts are the Yugo of type design. Do you even realize how hard it is to not poke fun of your request here…

As my old teacher Petr van Blokland used to say:

Everything that can be automated is by definition not design but production.

A lot of design decisions will be made while executing established design principles....

@ oldnick: If the MO for sweeping the floor was an iterative process then you could stop at any time and the whole room was uniformly clean to a certain degree. Also this is not a criterion for judging the success of a design but it is a valid...

The motions are iterative; the area covered is not: stopping halfway across the room yields a decidedly non-uniform and, in terms of the whole picture, unsuccessful results.

The motions are repetitive...

May not use the font... as part of a copyrighted logo or trademark

The best way to organize your kerning is definitely by using MetricsMachine. I know this is not quite the answer you were looking for but I promise you will never look back after giving it a try:
