As managing partner in Aufuldish & Warinner, Kathy Warinner has designed and produced projects for a wide variety of clients and over 50 books and jacket designs for Chronicle Books, Harper Collins, Random House, New World Library, among others. In addition, her illustrations have appeared on the cover of over 20 books.

Viscosity, a typeface designed collaboratively with her partner, Bob Aufuldish, was released by fontBoy in 1996.

Kathy has a BFA in Painting from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MA in Graphic Design from Kent State University, Ohio.
